Games Workshop 5th Edition Stars and Big Guys

There are some nice starplayers and Big guys of the 5th Edition….

Personal note: The Dwarf Deathroller is quite a beast and is the biggest one of all edition until now.

Zara The Slayer

The Starplayer Zara The Slayer. She is playing for Humans, Amazons, Norse and Dwarfs. The miniature is designed by Shane Hoyle and released October 2003. A very nice miniature to paint and, IMO, one of the best female minis of Games Workshop.

Minotaur

This Minotaur is designed by Adam Clarke and was released January 2004. I was quite happy, when i got the new Minotaur a few months before the official release as a from Fanatics sponsered price. I got this miniature as price for the best painted Team at the Mannheim Massaker Tournement 2003.

Mummy Ramtut III

The Khemri Starplayer Mummy Ramtut IIIwas designed, like the other Khemri miniatures, by Phil Bowen. The relased date was 2004.

Varag Ghoul Chewer

The Varag Ghoul Chewer of the 5th Edition sculpted by Aly Morrison, released March 2004. This mini is a multiparts miniature and comes with two different heads to choice from. Both new minis, Griff and Varag, were the first pair of „fighting stand pair “ minis. The planed fighting stand base never appears in public.

Griff Oberwald 2004

The Griff Oberwald of the 5th Edition sculpted by Aly Morrison and released March 2004. This mini is a multiparts miniature and comes with two different heads to choice from.

Jordell Freshbreeze

The Jordell Freshbreeze of the 5th Edition sculpted by Aly Morrison, released September 2004. This mini is also a kind of multiparts miniature, as it comes with two different heads to choice from. One open and one closed helmet.

Hubris Rakarth

The Hubris Rakarth of the 5.Edition is sculpted by Aly Morrison, released September 2004, and comes with two different heads, too.

Dwarf bomber

This Dwarf bomber is another of the new secret weapons miniatures of the 5th Edition sculpted by Aly Morrison. The miniature was later renamed Star Player „Boomer Eziasson“ and released December 2004.

Troll

The Troll of the 5th Edition, sculpted by Adam Clarke, is also a multiparts miniature. Quite a big mini, which was released June 2004.

Dwarf Deathroller

The Dwarf Deathroller of the 5.Edition consists of 14 parts and a nice sculpted metal base and is designed by Aly Morrison. The maschine was released December 2004. Normal there are a few chains on this miniature, which i didnt used at the foto shown here.

Flint Churnblade

The 5th Edition Dwarf Starplayer Flint Churnblade was sculpted by Aly Morrison and released December 2004. That is the second Flint after the starplayer of the 2nd edition.

Secret weapon Skaven

The Secret weapon Skaven with poison blades of the 5th Edition was sculpted by Aly Morrison. This miniature was released January 2005.

Dark Elf with blades 1

There are two different Dark Elfs of the 5.Edition with secret weapons. Both were sculpted by Mark Harrison and released February 2005.

Hack Enslash

Another secret weapon miniature of the 5.Edition was a chainsaw carrying skeleton, sculpted by Mark Bedford and released February 2005. This miniature was renamed later into a Starplayer called „Hack Enslash“.

Griff Oberwald 2008

That is the third Griff Oberwald miniature overall and the second of of the 5.Edition. This miniature is a multiparts miniature (body, head and arms) and was sculpted by Neil Langdown and released 2008.

Mighty Zug

The Mighty Zug of the 5th Edition was released 2009. There exists also another version of a Mighty Zug, which was „a very limited edition for GW staff“ as i was told sometimes. Difficult to get and not cheap… and i´m happy that i could add him to my 5th Edition Human team once.
